On Good Friday, Jesus was cut off from the living, but Easter Sunday He brought new life to the Tree.
In  the Beginning was the Tree of Jesse—a representation of Jesus’s genealogy in the form of a tree—was a popular subject in medieval Christian art. Its name derives from the messianic prophecy of Isaiah 11:1 and 10

1. A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse;
    from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.

2. The Spirit of the Lord will rest on him—the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might, the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the Lord—and he will delight in the fear of the Lord.

10 In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place will be glorious.

EASTER is the symbol of HOPE renewal and New Life

"Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime." "To a Christian, Easter Sunday means everything, when we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ."
