A SHORT SERVICE FOR THE BEREAVED
Every third Sunday of November, St Nicholas Church, Sighthill holds a special service for the bereaved.This service is immediately followed by a time of fellowship and light refreshments, in our church hall. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, we did not hold this service and fellowship this year.
We have now posted a short, simple and easy to follow order of this service on our church website. It is a work in progress, and we invite you (if you are happy and able) to hold this service, in your home or wherever you are - on your own or with family and friends. Please (again, if you’re happy and able) have a candle ready before you click on the link (2 candles) above.
We are working on adding a virtual candle to this link, for those who, for various reasons, might find it difficult or impossible to use a real candle. We continue to keep you in our thoughts and prayers, asking God Almighty to grant you comfort and to meet you, dear friends, at all your points of need.
